Saying that the Angry Birds game app has sold well is an understatement. Released in December 2009, across all the platform’s it has been released on it has been downloaded more than 50 million times. 50 million! On one day along, Christmas Day 2010, it was downloaded well over 1 million times. There is a cut-down version available for free, but the paid app sells for $1.19. Not a bad little earner.

They’re on sale in Apple stores in the UK, but I cannot see them on the Aussie Apple store site.
