Big Jambox wireless speaker on the way

Big Jambox wireless speaker, in black, red, and silver

The handy little Jambox was a big hit a couple of years ago, and now Jawbone is set to release an update, with the Big Jambox.

Just like the original, the Big Jambox will play tunes wirelessly – via Bluetooth – from your phone, tablet or mobile device, or be used as a speakerphone, and can have its firmware updated via connection to a computer. Inside is two speaker drivers, and dual passive bass radiators. So bigger box, more sound.

The original Jambox dimensions were 151 x 57 x 40 mm (L x W x H), while the Big Jambox is 256 x 80 x 93 mm. What has diminished is the range of colours. The Big Jambox will be available in grey, black and red.
