Win 1 of 2 HTC Desire Z smartphones
COMPETITION CLOSED
TechStyles has, thanks to HTC, two HTC Desire Z smartphones to give away, each valued at $699.
The HTC Desire Z is a 3.7 inch touchscreen and slideout QWERTY keyboard phone, running on Android Froyo (aka Android 2.2).
The phone has a 5-megapixel camera with auto focus and flash, and will record 720p HD video.
Surf the web and you’ll see all of it, as the Desire Z has no problem with Flash content.
Wirelessly share music, movie and photo content to your TV with DLNA, and the Locations mapping app is in-built, with places of interest, directions and turn-by-turn navigation. All this, and more, is within the palm of your hand with the HTC Desire Z.
For a full list of the phone’s specifications, read TechStyles’ HTC Desire Z preview (page will open in new window).

When in a rush I’d lazy touch-type. When relaxed and playful i’ll slide out the keyboard. Mood depending both would be fun
I could handle either, as my old Nokia 6120 is like a 75 Kingswood that’s done 300,000kms…..I’d love a Smartphone & I could jump ahead of my brother – who has the HTC Wildfire ;->)
Sorry Deane, this competition closed last year.
Slideout as I seem to mark my screen far too much which in turns makes for hard reading so slideout is best forget the rest
Sorry Lesley, this competition closed last week.
The touchscreen as I love how far technology has come. And my fiance would love the keyboard
good luck everyone
Sorry Kayla, this competition closed at midnight last night.
This competition is now closed.
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
All things must pass.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Definitely the touchscreen keyboard, the less excess baggage the better!
IPhone Naaaaah! The touch is not for me.
Each mistaken push is irritating… soooo furry!
I like to feel what I’m pressing;
a qwerty keyboard makes me happy.
To just have a phone that would slide down into a key pad, or have the option to touch it, that sounds dirty, would bring me into the 21st century.
Has to be the touchscreen keyboard coz SWYPE is the fastest way to enter text…
Like Superman, SWYPE is “faster than a speeding bullet”.
The TOUCHSCREEN – I’m a TOUCHY FEELY sort of person!
the keyboard – otherwise I’ll be eating lunch, typing away, and wondering why my screen is getting covered in gunk…
Touchscreen because I enjoy the challenge

These HTC phones are amazing and so simple to use, especially having the choice of touch screen or slide out keyboard. I would definitely use both.
My partner just got a Desire S and I would love the Desire Z with the slide out qwerty keyboard. I have to have a better phone than him.
Slide out awesome to hold, use and be the envy of my friends!
all my friends have an i phone i pad i this i that. I would like the smartphone. So i can be smart this smart that..
I love the new HTC phones, I would use the slide out keyboard, I think its a cool gadget and you look so professional sliding it out to send your texts!
I’d go both ways, swype has changed the face of touch keyboards but my thumbs still need dual-wielding practice to master a well-designed qwerty, and Desire Z looks like it
i would love to have a touch screen because it looks good and i never had one before
i would love to have a touchscreen keypad cause i never had a touch sceen phone before i had a e71 for 3 years
Yesterday I turned my computer’s keyboard upside down, and, as food crumbs rained down, I thought to myself “A touch screen keyboard would come in handy at meal times…”
Qwerty for sure!
With long bling nails touch screens a chore!
Slide-out keyboard, mobiles are banned from work meetings but PC’s aren’t so with the slide-out it becomes a PC, I can then do something useful in meetings like read TechStyles.
The slide out keyboard, I’m still clinging on to my youthful days learning to touch type on a manual typewriter but yet embracing the new technology
Touch screen definitely, it makes me feel one step closer to the technology in movies like Iron Man and Minority Report, we’ll be touching projections in the air
Touch screen, as the buttons don’t get stuck and damaged through too much texting.
Bring back the qwerty keyboards! I used to LOVE my ginormous old brick, Nokia 5510!!
I would use The HTC Desire Z is a 3.7 inch touchscreen and slideout QWERTY keyboard phone, i like the setup of this one, looks easy to use looks good
Slide-out keyboard goes down a treat
so texting wouldn’t be such a feat
Style and technology HTC has
making it a class above the rest
i soooooo neeeeeeeed the new phone
The slide-out QWERTY keyboard is perfect for me! Less scratches and better spelling!!!! 10/10!!!!
As a relative late comer to the “tech” market, I would choose touch screen keyboard. I love everything tactile…so, for me, touch is good! Thanks for the choice.
I would use the QWERTY keyboard if I am bored and the touchscreen for when I am keen.
*Tap tap*
I like to fiddle, I like to press buttons and I like to slide.
I desire the slide-out phone which will keep my habits to good use!
I would use both because i dont have a proper phone that would let me send text messages :’(
i would love to win the htc and i love the way it has the slide down key pad it is sooo cool
