The Pearl 3G, or to give it its full model name and number, the BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9100, has a 20-key condensed QWERTY keyboard, optical trackpad, dedicated media keys.

Price

Telstra have a range of plans available including $0 upfront on a BlackBerry $59 Cap Plan for 24 months. That would be a minimum cost over the period of $1,416). This plan includes up to $400 of standard voice calls, SMS and more.

Telstra Business customers can pick up the BlackBerry Pearl 3G smartphone for $0 upfront on a $55 per month (or higher) mobile plus plan – a minimum cost over 24 months of $1,320. Or they could take $0 upfront on a $59 per month (or higher) business mobile cap plan, a minimum cost over 24 months of $1,416. The phone is also available on a range of Telstra Enterprise and Government plans

The BlackBerry Pearl 3G smartphone can also be purchased outright from Telstra for $679.

Tomorrow the phone is available to purchase from Telstra online, or at Telstra’s [T]Life stores in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, or from selected Fone Zone and JB Hi-Fi outlets. The BlackBerry Pearl 3G smartphone will filter out to all other Telstra stores and dealers from June 1.

The phone is available in black, or, exclusive to Fone Zone until the end of June, in royal purple.
