Blackberry’s PlayBook has been breeding

Some tablet computers have a long and public gestation period. The Notion Ink comes to mind as one example, and another is the BlackBerry PlayBook.

First announced late last year, the BlackBerry PlayBook won’t be available until the second half of 2011, but that’s not to say there’s no news. At the Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona, maker RIM has announced that there will not be one model, there will in fact be four. Namely:



Each of the four models will support Bluetooth tethering, Blackberry Bridge, and mobile hotspots.
