Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 set for April release

2011 will be probably the biggest year yet for the Harry Potter movie franchise, with the final movie in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, to hit cinemas in July.

In the meantime, the seventh movie in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1, is set for a release on DVD, Blu-ray, On Demand and digital download on April 15.

Harry Potter goes into the vault

Beginning now, Warner Home Video are emulating Disney, and putting the first six Harry Potter movies ‘in the vault’. That means from now until March 30, there’ll be no new deliveries of the films to stores. Then, on March 30, stores will be restocked, and sell for $14.95 each on DVD, and $19.95 on Blu-ray.
