HTC Titan – Windows Phone 7 Mango and a big-ass screen

HTC Titan, and views of the front, back and side

The HTC Titan smartphone was announced at the IFA in Berlin today, and with its 4.3 inch screen it is currently the largest you’ll find on a Windows phone. Smaller than the also-just-announced Samsung Galaxy Note, but then that’s running Android, not Windows. It seems in phones in the near future that going big is the new black.

The screen might be big, but the black unibody case is quite svelte at only 9.9 mm thick. The battery is also big, at 1600 mAh, but then it will need to be to power the big touchscreen.

HTC Titan – the videos

Details of the HTC Titan are still a little scant, but to fill the void until more information is released HTC have produced a series of introductory videos, looking at individual features of the phone. Enjoy, though beware, the voiceover is a little nauseating.
