The inner-west Sydney suburb of Balmain is the latest worldwide location, and the first in Australia, to have a Loewe Gallery concept store open. The concept store forms a section of the recently relocated New Fidelity store, at 211 Darling Street.

Loewe was founded in Berlin in 1923, known for high-end products exhibiting minimalist design. LCD TVs, 5.1 audio systems, 3.1 sound systems and 2.0 sound systems, DVD players and recorders, Blu-ray players make up their product range.

The Principal of New Fidelity, Garrett Mills said “We believe there is a large segment of affluent consumers emerging in the inner Sydney suburbs who seek value rather than price. It is our goal to satisfy this demand by providing a quality of service and product that surpasses all others.”

“The Loewe Gallery concept has been hugely successful in Europe, both for the Loewe brand and for retailers. The Sydney market, and the inner-ring suburbs that we service in particular, is no less sophisticated, so we hope to emulate the European success story right here in Balmain.”

The Loewe Gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday. If you’re looking for a place to sit and chat after you’ve checked out the Loewe range, I recommend the London Hotel, situated right across the road. One of my favourite Sydney pubs, but being a Balmain boy most of my favourite pubs are in that part of the world.
