Overseas it’s called the Motorola Droid 2, but when it’s released here in December it will be called the Motorola Milestone 2.
It runs on Android 2.2, also known as Froyo, out of the box, and is powered by a 1 Ghz processor, so it should be a pretty snappy user experience. The Motorola Milestone 2 has both a touchscreen and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard/
Motorola Milestone 2 release date and price
At present no precise release date has been given, just ‘from December’. Also not provided was any pricing, but the Motorola Milestone 2 will be sold by Telstra and Optus.
