Nokia goes for a last solo gold with the Oro

Nokia Oro, front and back views, plus earphones

Nokia’s been a little quiet for a while now, what with the decision to take on the mobile phone world in partnership with Microsoft. In the meantime it has snuck out a little mobile bling to fill what has been a product void – shield your eyes and behold the Nokia Oro.

Same old Symbian operating system, granted it’s the new Symbian Anna, and a big bunch of specs (see below), but it has gone and given this remodelled Nokia C7 an 18-carat gold plated casing.

Not just the phone, they’ve also given the earphones the bling treatment. And you can choose to have your 18-carat case wrap around a black or a white faceplate. Oh, and the Nokia Oro has a leather back, and the Home button is made from sapphire crystal.

The overseas price for the Oro is 800 Euros.
