It’s apt that as I sit here in Sydney attending a conference on social media, Nokia have released the name of their new concept phone, to be designed, in part, using social methods. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the Nokia U.
This phone to be has come about due to a Nokia project, Design by Community – creating the ultimate concept device.

All that remains now is for Nokia to produce sketches and 3D renders of the Nokia U. How will it turn out? Typically Nokia, very sensible and minimalist, or will we end up with the mobile phone equivalent of The Homer?
