Olive O3HD Music Server – plug, rip, dance. Easy.

The Olive O3HD is something I really do want. So those that know me, keep this in mind for my next birthday, or next Christmas. Both are in December, so you’ve time to save…

The Olive O3HD Music Server is a music storage and a music playback system. Plug it into the wall, and then put in all the CDs you’d like to store on the O3HD’s 500GB hard drive. Put the CD in, then it’s a one-button-click to “rip, tag & archive”.

There should be no need to type in the song and album titles, or the music genres, as the in-built database recognises information from 2.7 million albums. The hard drive will store up to 1,500 CDs, or, in high definition (24-bit/192kHz), 5,000 individual songs.

Once you’ve loaded all of your music, you can back it up to an external hard drive, just to be safe. Which you always should look to be when dealing with a hard drive.

To pick what you want to play, you do so via the 4.3 inch touchscreen. Search and play by album name, artist, song title, playlist, genre or album art.
