Ricoh GR Digital IV digital camera, black and white models

After a two-year gap, Ricoh is updating its GR range of point-and-shoot digital cameras with the Ricoh GR Digital IV.

The GR Digital IV, like the GR Digital III, is a 10 megapixel camera, and has the 28mm/F1.9 GR lens. Improvements with the newer model include:

  • the new GR Engine IV, for better image processing
  • 3 inch, 1.23 million dot VGA LCD screen, approximately 1.7 times brighter than the GR Digital III’s screen
  • Eye-Fi card compatibility, allowing wireless transfer of images to a computer or image-sharing website
  • My Setting function – program the GR Digital IV in up to 12 favourite settings
  • Multiple exposure shooting, allowing up to five overlapping shots

Collector’s edition white Ricoh GR Digital IV

Ongoing the Ricoh GR Digital IV will be available in black only, but at launch a collector’s edition white model Ricoh GR Digital IV will also be available. Only 10,000 are to be sold worldwide, with Australia’s allocation being somewhere around 200.
