Star Wars to Blu-ray disc this September

Star Wars: The Complete Saga, Blu-ray box

Star Wars is to be released on Blu-ray, and will be in stores on September 14. For the first time, in Star Wars: The Complete Saga, you’ll be able to buy all six movies in the one collection, accompanied by three discs of bonus material. You’ll also be able to buy the two trilogies on Blu-ray separately.

The movies are presented in widescreen format, in high definition and 6.1 DTS Surround Sound. All up there are over 40 hours of bonus features.



Special features

Here’s a list of the special features on each of the discs. Sadly, unless it’s a disc Easter Egg, the awful Star Wars Christmas Special is nowhere to be found. Neither is there a script doctor feature for Episodes I to III.
