Denon has announced that three of its latest AV receivers can now download software to enable use of Apple’s new AirPlay streaming audio system.
AirPlay will enable wireless playing through your home theatre system of audio from an iPad, iPhone, iPod, Mac or PC.
The three Denon models capable of this upgrade are the AVRA100, AVR-3311 and AVR-4311. The download is direct from the Denon servers to your Ethernet-connected AV receiver. It’s not free mind you, the upgrade will cost you $60. The D-N7 multimedia system will soon also be able to benefit from the upgrade.
