The HTC Desire, released in April this year, is a pretty damn good phone, so it’s no surprise that HTC are continuing this mobile marque with their new flagship phone, the HTC Desire HD.
The new model has the same fast 1 GHz Snapdragon, has more storage space, a bigger camera at 8 megapixel, will run on the latest version of Android, v2.2, better known as Froyo, and has an improved Android overlay, with a new version of HTC Sense. Oh, and the screen size of the HTC Desire HD is 4.3 inches, against the Desire’s 3.7 inches.
And like the HTC Legend, the HTC Desire HD is made not of plastic, it has a strong single case of aluminium covering and protecting the phone. That, and it looks and feels good too.
HTC Desire HD release date and pricing
The only details given at launch were that the HTC Desire HD has a release date of October, and that it will be exclusive at launch to Vodafone and 3. Pricing and exact release date details will be available in a few weeks.
