In early April a very cheap way into the smartphone world will be available, in the form of the LG Optimus Me.
The LG Optimus Me will be sold for $299, unlocked, via retailers such as Woolworths supermarkets, Dick Smith Electronics, Allphones and Telechoice.
The screen and processor aren’t high-end specced, at 2.8 inch and 600MHz respectively, and it’s not running the absolute latest and greatest Android operating, but Android Froyo isn’t too bad at all. Did I mention it’s selling for only $299?
Would pricing like this make you think seriously about switching up to a smartphone? Drop a comment below in the Leave a Reply section.
