Have you ever bought, or considered buying a tablet computer, and said to yourself, “You know, what this thing is really missing is a bicycle.” Well ponder no more tablet fans, the UK-based 14 Bike Co. has been thinking the very same thing, and put together the Samsung Galaxy Tab Bike.
What does it do? In a nutshell, it holds, via a carbon fibre bracket, a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 to the top bar of the bike’s frame. Why? I suspect this is an attention-grabber, to highlight the company’s new online custom bike building service. I can’t think of any other reason to place a very nice piece of tech in such a vulnerable position. Oh, other than to say, “Look at me, I live in a country where they allow you to buy a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and I stuck it on my bike”.
