New from Garmin, and in stores now, are the Approach G3 and Approach S1. These two devices will help you navigate the trials and tribulations of golf courses, and perhaps take a stroke or two of your game.

The Approach G3, pictured above, looks a little like a ‘regular’ GPS device. The Approach G3 has a a 2.6 inch touchscreen, and comes pre-loaded with maps for 600 courses across Australia. It’s rated IPX7, so it will put up with inclement weather. It is powered by two AA batteries, providing up to 16 hours of use.

The Approach S1 takes the form of a watch, and is also pre-loaded with the same 600 mapped courses as the G3, and also matches it in terms of ruggedness and water resistance.
