Logitech’s Couch Mouse M515 is not one for the normal environment of the computer mouse. No cushy mouse pad, or solid desk for this baby, no no no, that’s not the way this baby rolls.
It can of course work in its regular environment, but what the Couch Mouse M515 is really designed for is to work on soft surfaces. So if you’re stuck for a hard surface, Logitech claim the sealed bottom case will glide easily on the couch, blankets and slankets, and maybe even pyjamas. Or, you could put on a wetsuit and BE the mouse pad. Your mouse, your choice.
A great feature for battery management is that the M515 mouse will only power up when touched, via the hand-detection sensor.
In the USA this device is called the Logitech Couch Mouse M515, while in Europe it is the Logitech Wireless Mouse M515. It’s not in Australia yet, so it’s not yet established exactly what moniker Logitech will assign the M515. There’s no release date yet, or pricing details, but as a guide in the USA it sells for US$49.99.
