Finally Apple has overcome the mysterious production problems, and the white iPhone will go on sale. Today, 28 April, 2011. Hallelujah! Now all of those people who’ve been wanting a white-coloured iPhone 4 but did not to go the faux with a white silicon, rubber or plastic cover, can now be shade-satisfied.
In addition to Australia the white iPhone 4 will go on sale in the following countries on April 28:
Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Macau, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, UK and the US.
That means with our time zone location Australians will be amongst the first in the world to lay hands on the virginal version of the iPhone 4.
The Australian pricing for the white iPhone 4 at the online Apple Store, Apple’s retail stores, and select Apple Authorised Resellers, is:
16GB – $859
32GB – $999
And yes, that is the same pricing and sizes as the black version of the iPhone 4.
Will the additional colourway sway you, or will you wait for the iPhone 5 (or perhaps 4GS), due somewhere around September?
