Breville Radio Toaster – two slices, two bands, and the truth

Breville Radio Toaster

Breville Radio Toaster

If you’ve been wanting the world of toast and tunes to collide, meld and pump out two types of hot, then you’re going to like the Breville Radio Toaster.

It’s two slices and two bands of brilliant silliness. It’s as if Breville said to itself, “Food and tunes, living in perfect harmony, side by side on your kitchen sideboard, oh lord, why don’t we.”

As well as the in-built radio, there’s also an audio jack, allowing you to connect an iPod or MP3 player for the world’s hottest iPod dock.

The good news is that this toaster is real, and on sale. The bad news, is that it’s been made and marketed by the UK arm of Breville for the UK market only. Don’t get too browned off, you never know, the Breville Radio Toaster could still one day pop-up Down Under.

All apologies for the puns and the Ebony and Ivory lyric rewrite. I blame this terducken of a home appliance.

The Breville Radio Toaster sells in the UK for £50.
