Angry Birds Space – the countdown begins

The phenomenally successful Angry Birds franchise is soon, for the first time in a year, to have a new full version of the game released, with Angry Birds Space.
There’s precious little detail available as yet, other than the release date of March 22. Rovio, the media company behind the game, has said the more details about Angry Birds Space will be trickled out from early March. About all Rovio has said so far is this:
Angry Birds Space is a completely new game with innovative new gameplay, but with some of the familiar Angry Birds elements that fans already know and love — plus some surprises!
Rovio also declared that Angry Birds Space will “launch simultaneously in mobile gaming, animation, retail, and publishing…”
A video teaser of the game has been uploaded to YouTube, Teaser #1, though to call it a teaser is stretching the definition of the term. Here’s the video:
