HTC has tonight announced the pricing and release dates of the twin Android phone attack of the Desire S and the Wildfire S smartphones.
Telstra will have a three-month exclusivity on both phones, and as you’ll see below, HTC and Telstra have priced the Desire S and the Wildfire S quite aggressively. This a a bold strike to have these Android smartphones move “beyond geeks and early adopters into the mainstream”.

The HTC Desire S can be purchased at Telstra stores on May 31. The outright price will be $648, or you can pick it up for $5 month on the $59 plan, over 24 months, a minimum cost of $1,536.
