TEAC has added another budget iPod dock to its range, with the release of the ITB500iP. It’s from the tall strain of iPod docks, so more a floorstanding option than furniture-bound, unless of course you’re freakishly tall, or you just like a regular plyometric challenge.
The TEAC ITB500 iPod dock is 840 mm tall, and inside is two 15W speakers, plus a 30 watt subwoofer. It has an FM radio inbuilt, and in addition to the iPod / iPhone dock, it can connect to other devices via its Line in/RCA input. Or you can play files via the inbuilt SD card reader and USB port.
In addition to pumping out that oh so secret Vengaboys playlist of yours, your iPod or iPhone will also charge while docked.
In the box is the ITB500 itself, plus audio cables, base copper feet, and a remote control.
TEAC ITB500iP price and availability

Now, have I written enough to get to the bottom of this tall image to the right? Yes? Oooh, it’s close with all of those social media share buttons. OK, close enough. I’m calling the TEAC ITB500iP iPod dock closed.
